Comfort Cooling - Villacool™
The Problem
With increasingly warmer summer months and increases in external pollution, air conditioning is now becoming a more recognised requirement in today's living environment, however this is usually limited to commercial buildings due to the high capital cost of the equipment.
The Solution - Villacool™
Villavent® now offers its own form of Villacool™ that is both flexible in design and adaptable to
different buildings as well as being unobtrusive and affordable.
Rather than being an expensive thermostatically controlled air conditioning system the Villacool™ unit will cool and dehumidify the
supply air by 8-12°C on outside air temperature. The reduction in actual room temperature will vary dependant on the amount of heat gain
within the building and the amount of air provided by the ventilation system.

How It Works
With 6 years experience of this product we have found that loft mounted 'bolt on' type units offer a nominal cooling
effect on a room and can be noisy as the compressor is housed within.
With over 50 successful installations over recent years we now recommend 'Villacool™'. This has the advantage of an externally
mounted unit, preventing noise from entering the building and better levels of cooling being delivered via a higher level of ventilation.
The external unit is capable of 4.0kw (approx) of cooling giving a cooling effect of 8°-12°C (from ambient) off of the coil
adjacent to the Heat Recovery unit in the roofspace.
Villavent® are able to supply a DIY first fix kit or a complete kit to suit customer requirements.
