Our client is a long established and respected company which has built an award winning reputation as Britain's premier house builder for internal and external design and construction.

Situated in the heart of London Docklands, the project was a development of nearly 100 stunning new apartments. It was designed as a clean and modern apartment property providing a quality living accommodation within the heart of London.

The Brief

Our client wanted a modern and sophisticated Heat Recovery system that would compliment the modern interior of each apartment. With nearly 100 apartments, the system needed to be quiet, yet highly efficient in its operation.

The system would also need to take into consideration the nature of a 13 story block of flats, as the opening of windows would be restricted and improved security measures would be beneficial.

The Solution

The client incorporated the Villavent Heat Recovery Ventilation within the apartments.

The Result

Installation of the unit above the cookerhood has ensured an optimum usage of space within each apartment. The performance of the Heat Recovery system is very efficient providing a clean and filtered air and improving the internal environment where windows remain closed. A minimum number of external breakouts has maintained the interesting facade of the property, while internally, the ventilation units integrate well with a simple interior.

The system is easy to control via the cookerhood and incorporates built in humidity sensors to boost the system when 'wet' rooms are in use.
