central extract maintenance

The Villavent® central extract system is developed for continuous use and with a minimum of maintenance and service.

1.   Check the fans

2.  Even if the maintenance is carried out, dust and grease will gradually build up inside the fan. This will in time reduce the efficiency. The fans should be scraped using a non metallic scraper, e.g. body of Bic Biro

3.  Cleaning extract louvres

Central Extract - TSL 2   [back to top]

The Duo TSL2 extracts the used indoor air via the duct system and louvres. Louvres are mounted in wetrooms, WC Etc. Remove louvres and wash in hot soapy water as required.

Maintenance of the Duo TSL2 should be performed 3-4 times a year (depending on use and pollution in indoor air). Apart from general cleaning, the following should be observed:

1.   The aluminium grease filter in the cookerhood must be cleaned regularly (at least 3-4 times a year). Wash in hot soapy water or in dish washer. Do not use detergent containing ammonia

2.  Checking the fans (This will involve disconnecting the ductwork and dismounting the ventilation unit)

Even if the maintenance of cleaning / changing of filters is carried out, dust and grease will gradually build up inside the fan. This will in time reduce the efficiency. The fans should be gently scraped using a non metallic scraper eg the body of a bic biro

3.  Clean the extract louvres
